Why Provence?
At that time, they regularly leave Belgium and the city of Hasselt for holidays and quickly adapt to the lifestyle of the south of France. Slowly but surely, the stays become longer. They don’t live there, but this beautiful region between land and sea captures them.
The search then begins to find the vacation home where the children will grow up over the summers. But the quest proves to be challenging…
Unity is strength
Their certainties are shaken, and the desire for more freedom, more value, entrepreneurship, and finding more meaning in their personal and professional lives is born. The turning point sounds like a revelation: this is where they want to be, live, and create! “Unity is strength,” and the Janssens decide to write a new chapter in history. “Janssens Real Estate” opens its doors in Bonnieux, quickly followed by the “Made in Provence” brand for seasonal rentals. After a few years, the real estate crisis disrupts everything. Everywhere, agencies close one after another. Rudi and Carine then make a surprising decision: open new agencies. Invest more. Occupy the ground by establishing themselves elsewhere.
